The present invention relates to a security transmission system and a closed-circuit television system using the same. When a signal is transmitted through multiple pairs of LAN cables, a predetermined security signal is exchanged between a transmission side and a reception side through an idle pair which is not used for signal transmission. Consequently, intended noise is generated in a transmitted signal to actually prevent recovery of a signal even if the signal is obtained in the middle of the LAN cable, and security can be reinforced by additionally and conveniently installing the security transmission system in a communications system using the LAN cable.
