[Problem] To propose an information-processing device, an information processing method, and a program whereby, even when capturing a video or a plurality of still images as a sequence of images, the captured images can be transferred efficiently between devices connected via a network. [Solution] An information-processing device provided with the following: an acquisition unit that, on the basis of an instruction from an external device connected via a network, acquires a sequence of images captured by an imaging unit in accordance with a predetermined operating mode; and a transfer control unit that transfers to the external device, via the network, a sequence of thumbnail images corresponding to the aforementioned sequence of images. In accordance with an instruction from the external device, said external device having received the transferred sequence of thumbnail images, the transfer control unit transfers at least a subset of the sequence of images to the external device via the network. |
