[Problem] To provide a method for sealing an end part of a film, whereby a sealing material can be applied so that the sealing material does not readily peel, deform, etc., when the sealing material is applied to an end part where the film is bonded with a support substrate, and whereby application can also be performed efficiently. [Solution] This method for sealing an end part of a film comprises covering a support substrate 110, a film 120 bonded to the support substrate 110, and a lateral face of the support substrate 110 and the film 120, and covering with a sealing material 130 over the surface of either a film 120 side or a support substrate 110 side from the lateral face. The sealing material 130 is applied using a nozzle 215 configured from a first back lip and a first front lip for applying the sealing material 130 to the lateral face of the support substrate 110 and the film 120, and a second back lip and a second front lip for applying the sealing material 130 on the film 120 or the support substrate 110. |
