The problem addressed by the present invention is to increase the heat transmission rate of an elastomer molded body above what has been conventional. This method uses a crystalline polymer and/or a precursor thereof as a heat-transmitting modifier. In other words, this heat-transmitting modifier for an elastomer contains a crystalline polymer and/or a precursor thereof. Additionally, the heat-transmitting modifier may contain only the crystalline polymer and/or a precursor thereof, and may contain the crystalline polymer and/or a precursor thereof as well as another component. The method and heat-transmitting modifier can increase the heat transmission rate of an elastomer molded body above what has been conventional.
