A lotion container 100 has a receptacle 10, a cover 20, and a foam-like applicator material 30 between the receptacle 10 and the cover 20. The foam 30 is made of porous material which is able to absorb lotion stored in the receptacle 10, and can be of a core material having a top coating and/or bottom coating. The core material can be expanded Polyurethane (PU) e.g. of density 30 kg/m3. The top and bottom coating of the foam 30 can be a textile, such as cotton or synthetic polyester such as Terylene. The coating(s) is/are attached to the foam 30 by a combination of heat bonding and adhesive. The coating(s) can be treated with a primer which acts as an adhesive. The coating(s) can be pressure heat bonded to the foam 30. |
