PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device or an input/output device in which reflection of outside light is reduced.SOLUTION: The display device includes a first substrate 107 and a second substrate 108. The first substrate includes a first surface. A transistor 109 is over the first surface. The second substrate includes a second surface. A first structure 180 having a projection shape, a second structure 180 having a projection shape, a black matrix 186 covering the first structure and the second structure, and color filters 181, 182, 183 are over the second surface. The first surface faces the second surface. The black matrix has a plurality of projections reflecting the shapes of the first structure and the second structure.
