PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension substrate capable of improving connection reliability between external terminals of an external connection substrate and connection terminals.SOLUTION: A suspension substrate 1 comprises an insulation layer 10, a metal support layer 20 provided on one surface of the insulation layer 10, a plurality of wirings 31 provided on the other surface of the insulation layer 10, and a plurality of connection terminals 33 provided in a tail region 3 and connected to the wirings 31. The connection terminals 33 can be bonded to the external terminals 132 of an external connection substrate 131 via an anisotropic conductive adhesive 62a. A region corresponding to a portion between the connection terminals 33 in the insulation layer 10 is provided with an insulation layer opening 11 through which the anisotropic conductive adhesive 62a can flow.
