PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device capable of suppressing the unstable vibration of a rotating body by suppressing a flow between a stationary body and the rotating body and capable of improving sealability.SOLUTION: A seal device 10 is provided such that an outer circumferential surface thereof is fixed to an inner circumferential surface 11a of a stationary body 11 and a predetermined clearance S is secured between an inner circumferential surface thereof and an outer circumferential surface 12a of a rotating body 12, and the seal device 10 comprises: a plurality of recessed portions 21 opening toward the rotating body 12; and communication passages 24 communicating a high-pressure space portion P1 with the respective recessed portions 21, the communication passages 24 being open at positions radially deviated from centers O of the respective recessed portions 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
