Disclosed are an operation method of a touch sensor based on a plurality of wireless bars, and a touch sensor based on a plurality of wireless bars. The operation method of a touch sensor may comprises the following steps: transmitting a sleep mode request signal to the touch sensor when there is no input signal for a certain period on the touch sensor; and transmitting an active mode conversion signal to the touch sensor when optical signal information is transmitted to the input signal from the touch sensor set in a sleep mode state by the sleep mode request signal. The sleep mode request signal and the active mode conversion signal can be transmitted to a first communications module of an optical signal transmitting portion of the touch sensor based on ultra wideband (UWB) communications, and the optical signal information can be received from a second communications module of an optical signal receiving portion of the touch sensor based on the UWB communications. The optical signal transmitting portion includes a plurality of optical signal transmitting elements, and the optical signal receiving portion includes a plurality of optical signal receiving elements corresponding to each of the optical signal transmitting elements. |
