<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve secondary working brittleness and Cr evaporation resistance of ferritic stainless steel. <P>SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel excellent in secondary workability and Cr evaporation resistance includes, in terms of mass%, ≤0.03% of C, 0.3 to ≤2.0% of Si, ≤1.0% of Mn, ≤0.04% of P, ≤0.01% of S, ≤0.2% of Ni, 16 to 20% of Cr, ≤0.03% of N, 0.8 to <2.0% of Al, 8(C+N) to ≤0.6% of Nb, 0.0005 to <0.01 of B, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, satisfies a transient temperature of -20°C or lower in a drop weight test, and satisfies following relationship (1): 24≤Cr mass%+1.5×Si mass%+6×Al mass%<30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
