The present invention relates to a secondary battery and a secondary battery system. More specifically, the provided chlorine-producing secondary battery comprises: a liquid positive electrode unit comprising a sodium-containing solution and a positive electrode current collector impregnated in the sodium-containing solution; a negative electrode unit comprising a liquid organic electrolyte, a negative electrode current collector impregnated in the liquid organic electrolyte, and a negative electrode active material layer located on the surface of the negative electrode current collector; a solid electrolyte located between the positive electrode unit and the negative electrode unit; and a chlorine discharge unit connected to the positive electrode unit so as to draw out, to the outside, chlorine generated in the positive electrode unit during charging.
