A jaw of a grasping treatment device includes first and second continuous surfaces formed into a shape that does not regulate movement of a grasp object along a jaw axis, the first continuous surface forming an edge of a first non-contact portion on a first jaw width direction side, the second continuous surface forming an edge of a second non-contact portion on a second jaw width direction side. The jaw includes a movement regulating portion regulating the movement of the grasp object along the jaw axis when the grasp object is grasped between the jaw and a distal treatment section, the movement regulating portion being positioned in a position that does not come in contact with the grasp object when the grasp object is interposed between the opened jaw and the distal treatment section. |
