摘要 The invention provides a method for differentiating an adenoma using the 18-oxoF present in the peripheral blood of a primary aldosteronism patient. Moreover, the invention provides a method and compound for determination of the 18-oxoF and 18-OHF in a sample by LC-MS. In further detail, the invention provides a method whereby the 18-oxoF in a sample is, directly or after being converted to an alkoxy form, reacted with 18-OHF and a compound represented by formula (I) to obtain an ester derivative and the resulting ester derivative is determined, as well as the ester derivative in question. (I) (In the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, C1-4 alkyl group, C1-4 alkoxy group, allyl C1-4 alkoxy group, C1-4 alkylamino group, di(C1-4 alkyl)amino group, nitro group, or cyano group, and X represents a hydroxy group or an elimination group.)
