The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the same. The liquid crystal display panel includes a transistor which is located in an intersection part of a gate line formed in one direction and a data line formed in a direction vertical to the one direction on a substrate, and includes a multi-structured gate insulating layer located on a gate connected to the gate line, and a source electrode and a drain electrode located on the multi-structured gate insulating layer; a multi-structured protection layer located on the transistor; a color conversion layer located on at least one layer of the multi-structured protection layer; a photosensitive material layer located on the color conversion layer; a first contact hole which is formed on the multi-structured protection layer, the color conversion layer, and the photosensitive material layer, and exposes part of the source electrode or the drain electrode; and a pixel electrode which is connected to the source electrode or the drain electrode through the first contact hole.
