<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a substrate for an artificial leather, which has a variety of mechanical properties, softness, a texture superior in aesthetic properties and further lightness. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the substrate for the artificial leather, which is formed of a three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric and an elastomer, comprises the following steps of (1) to (3) in this order. The step (1): a nonwoven fabric forming step of forming a three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric (a) comprising a composite fiber formed of a water-soluble polymer component (a) and a poorly water-soluble polymer component; the step (2): an impregnation step of impregnating the inside of the three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric (a) obtained in the step (1) with an elastomer solution or an elastomer dispersion liquid containing an elastomer to which a water-soluble polymer component (b) is added, to obtain a three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric (b); and the step (3): an extraction step of extracting the water-soluble polymer component (a) and the water-soluble polymer component (b) from the three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric (b) obtained in the step (2) by using hot water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
