<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump and a fuel supply device capable of suppressing seizure in a lifter after beginning of engine start-up. <P>SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel pump 13 includes: a cylinder 21 disposed above a cam 15 and having a guide hole 210 extending in a specified direction; a plunger 20 moving forward and backward along the specified direction in the guide hole 210; and a roller lifter 30 for transmitting drive force from the cam 15 to the plunger 20. The lifter body 31 of the roller lifter 30 includes: a lubricating oil reserving section 36 for reserving a part of the lubricating oil flowing into the lifter body 31; and a communication hole 35 which is formed in a bottom wall 311 disposed between the plunger 20 and the cam 15 in the lifter body 31 and communicates the outside and the inside of the lifter body 31 with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
