<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that usability can be significantly improved. <P>SOLUTION: A cooking vessel 1 includes a container body 10 that is made of glass and has an opening 20 and a lid body 14 that is made of a material softer than that of the container body 10 and abuts on the container body 10 to cover the opening 20. The container body 10 is formed with a plurality of curved portions 30 that are container marginal portions 25 of sidewalls 24, which are disposed by standing from the outer periphery of a platy bottom wall 22, and that curve downward.
