摘要 Disclosed are a common voltage distortion detection circuit which can modify an inversion method in real time by monitoring distortion of common voltage, a liquid crystal display device having the same, and a driving method thereof. The common voltage distortion detection circuit comprises: a current detection unit, a voltage difference detection unit, and a comparator. The current detection unit is arranged between a common voltage apply unit for generating common voltage applied to a liquid crystal panel, and an input power terminal for supplying power to the common voltage apply unit, and converting a current level corresponding to input power applied to the common voltage apply unit into voltage. The voltage difference detection unit outputs difference voltage by detecting the voltage difference between both ends of the current detection unit. The comparator outputs an overcurrent signal for requesting to change the inversion method of the liquid crystal panel if the difference voltage is greater than reference voltage by comparing the difference voltage and the reference voltage.
