<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for solar cell sealing material containing ethylene α-olefin copolymer, and propylene-ethylene random copolymer, combining three elements of excellent transparency, heat resistance and flexibility, and exhibiting excellent adhesion and steam permeability, and to provide a solar cell sealing material, and a solar cell module using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for solar cell sealing material contains the following components (A) and (B) as resin components. Components (A): an ethylene α-olefin copolymer produced by a metallocene-based catalyst having the following feature (a1); (a1) density:0.860-0.890 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>.
