The present invention provides a surface modified zirconium-based implant including an implant substrate to the surface of which a hydroxyl group is introduced, and a linker. Also, the present invention provides a zirconium-based implant for inducing or promoting osteogenesis, including a growth and differentiation factor fixed to the linker of the surface modified implant. The whole or at least the surface of the implant substrate is comprised of zirconium (Zr), zirconium alloys, or zirconium oxides. The linker comprises a triazole group, and exists in a state that one end of the linker is bonded to the hydroxyl group introduced to the surface of the implant substrate, and other end that is not bonded to the hydroxyl group is comprised of an amine group or a carboxyl group. The surface modified zirconium-based implant according to the present invention can be manufactured by a click reaction which has a simple process and a high yield and is safe. The linker formed on the implant substrate through the click reaction can immobilize heparin or GDFs (growth and differentiation factors) to the implant stably and more easily. Further, the zirconium-based implant for inducing or promoting osteogenesis according to the present invention, can solve problems caused by the early emission of a bone inducing factor by slowly emitting the GDF for a long period of time, and can improve osteogenesis and implant osseointegration by inducing or promoting differentiation or proliferation of osteoblast. |
