<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator having high mechanical strength, high insulation properties, high dendrite resistance and high ion conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: A separator 100 includes: one cellulose fiber layer 110; a nanofiber layer 120 arranged on one surface of the cellulose fiber layer 110; and a nanofiber layer 130 arranged on the other surface of the cellulose fiber layer 110. The cellulose fiber layer 110 has a thickness of 1-40 μm and comprises a cellulose fiber having an average fiber diameter of 0.1-10 μm.
