摘要 A decompression device having a body section (30) in which are formed: a rotation space (32) that rotates a refrigerant; a restriction path (33) that decompresses the refrigerant having reduced pressure on the rotation center side of the rotation space (32); and an air/liquid separation space (34) that separates refrigerant air and liquid, said refrigerant decompressed in the restriction path (33). The decompression device has a configuration whereby the refrigerant that flows in to the air/liquid separation space (34) is rotated in the same direction as the refrigerant inside the rotation space (32), and the refrigerant air and liquid is separated by the centrifugal action inside the air/liquid separation space (34). As a result, refrigerant boiling delay in the restriction path (33) is suppressed and the causes of noise generation can be suppressed, and the rotation flow speed of the refrigerant inside the air/liquid separation space (34) is increased more than the rotation flow speed of the refrigerant inside the rotation space (32) and the centrifugal action is increased, thereby enabling the effective reduction of the capacity of the air/liquid separation space (34). As a result, the causes of noise generation during refrigerant decompression can be suppressed without leading to an increase in the size of the refrigeration cycle device.
