It is aimed to increase a reaction force of a resilient stopper (76) while avoiding the enlargement of a connector. In the process of connecting first and second housings (10, 90), a slider (60) is kept at an advanced position by the locking of the resilient stopper (76) and a stopper receiving portion (25) and spring members (80) accumulate spring forces. As the first and second housings (10, 90) are properly connected, the locking of the resilient stopper (76) and the stopper receiving portion (25) is released and the slider (60) is moved to a retracted position while being biased by the spring members (80). The resilient stopper (76) projects from a base end portion (52) to a tip portion (51) and includes a first supporting point portion (54) formed of the base end portion (52) functioning as a supporting point of deflection in starting deflection in the process of connecting the first and second housings (10, 90) and a second supporting point portion (58) functioning as a supporting point of deflection following the first supporting point portion (54) in a part closer to the tip portion (51) than the base end portion (52). |
