A firewood splitting device in the present invention uses electricity as a power source to reduce the production, installation, and maintenance costs while easily splitting firewood, and does not need additional post processes, thereby efficiently splitting firewood. The firewood splitting device comprises: a decelerator motor integrally including a decelerator on a motor frame fixed on one side of the upper part of a rectangular plate-shaped base plate, and mounting the decelerator to be normally and reversely rotated; a splitter including a splitter body having a coupling hole to be coupled with a shaft of the decelerator motor, and a sharp part protruding toward the front of the splitter body and having a spiral screw to split firewood by being inserted into the firewood; and a driving means mounting the firewood on the upper part of the base plate on the opposite side of the decelerator motor to move the firewood in the splitter direction and return the same to the original position. |
