The present invention relates to a patient bed support part, a patient bed, and a system to discharge heat from the patient bed support part. The present invention provides a patient bed support part (10) to discharge heat from the patient bed support part (10). The patient bed support part includes a surface to store a test object (8); and at least one channel (12) including at least one inlet (14) to supply a fluid and at least one outlet (16) to discharge the fluid, and at least partly extended from the inside of the patient bed support part (10) to carry the fluid. Moreover, the present invention provides a corresponding patient bed (4), and a system (1) to discharge heat from the patient bed support part (10).
