<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of improving low fuel consumption and wear resistance in a good balance; and to provide a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition is used. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the rubber composition comprising a polymer mixture obtained by modifying a polymer of a conjugated diene compound and/or an aromatic vinyl compound with a compound having a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group; and silica, wherein the polymer mixture has a weight average molecular weight of 1.0×10<SP POS="POST">3</SP>to 1.0×10<SP POS="POST">5</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
