PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-produce cable for pressure detection.SOLUTION: A cable for pressure detection includes a tubular body 11 undergoing elastic deformation when applied with a pressure and a plurality of electrodes 12 to 15 arranged in the tubular body 11 and conducting mutually on deformation of the tubular body 11 applied with a pressure and is provided with a first separator 16 which is arranged in the tubular body 11, keeps the electrodes 12 to 15 in a non-conductive state when the tubular body 11 does not deform and is formed with a plurality of protrusions formed, at intervals in the circumferential direction, on the outer peripheral surface. The electrodes 12 to 15 are arranged spirally so as to surround the first separator 16. In a plane section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tubular body 11, a diameter H of a circumcircle B of the first separator 16, each diameter &phgr; of the electrodes 12 to 15 and the thickness of the protrusions meet the equation 1. |
