According to an embodiment of the present invention, a battery charging status estimation device comprises: a sensing unit sensing a current value and a voltage value of a battery; an internal resistance calculation unit calculating internal resistance by using the voltage value and the current value; a noise elimination unit determining a method to eliminate noise according to the internal resistance between an output accumulation method and an open circuit using method which uses an open circuit voltage; an output power accumulation unit calculating the remaining battery capacity in an accumulative manner according to the output accumulation method; a compensation charging status calculation unit calculating the compensation charging status of the battery using a preset lookup table according to the open circuit using method; and a battery charging status estimation unit calculating an estimated charging status of the battery by using the remaining battery capacity or the compensation charging status.
