The invention relates to a filtration system for filtering a fluid containing solid particles. The filtration system comprising deformable walls (3a,3b,3c,3d) defining chambers (2a,2b,2c,2d) interior to the wall, and tubular shaped membranes arranged in the chambers (2a,2b,2c,2d). Further, the system is arranged for periodically deforming the chamber walls inwardly and outwardly, respectively, for filtering a fluid that is present in the chamber, exterior to the membranes (4a,4b,4c,4d). |
