The present invention relates to an electrode assembly which improves adhesion and prevents a short circuit. The electrode assembly has a four-layer structure in which a first electrode having a first electrode tab, a first separator, a second electrode having a second electrode tab, and a second separator are sequentially stacked or a structure in which the four-layer structure is repeatedly stacked. In addition, the electrode assembly has the first and the second electrode tab which are withdrawn to the same direction and are separately formed from each other, and has an adhesive unit for bonding each end unit in end units of the first and the second separator in between the first and the second electrode tab.
