The present invention relates to a gas-operated spring (10) having an overtravel safety device, comprising: a tubular containment jacket (11); an end surface (12); an opposite annular unit (13) sealing the tubular jacket and allowing a piston rod (14) to pass through the same; and the piston rod (14) penetrating the annular unit (13). Moreover, a chamber (15) for a pressurized gas is formed between the piston rod and an annular passage portion for the tubular jacket, the end surface, and the piston rod, and the gas-operated spring (10) also comprises a means (17) for clearly displaying an overtravel of the piston rod (14). |
