Disclosed are a light emitting diode chip and a light emitting apparatus including the same. The light emitting apparatus comprises: a light emitting diode chip including a light emitting diode part, and a protective diode part; and a lens disposed on the light emitting diode chip. The lens comprises: a lower surface including a lower concave section defining a light incident surface to which light emitted from the light emitting diode chip is inputted; and a top surface defining a light output surface and including an upper concave section. The light emitting diode chip is disposed under or in the lower concave section and the upper concave section is disposed on the protective diode part. As a result, the light emitting device having uniform and wide beam distributions and a high luminous property is provided. |
