摘要 Provided are an inspection method which is capable of performing a defect inspection on a display cell in an excited state without laminating a protective film on the display cell which is formed on a resin base and has a flexible thin-film structure, and a method which is capable of performing a high-efficiency excitation state inspection on a display cell in a configuration in which a plurality of display cells are formed on a cell motherboard, and equipment thereof. The optical inspection method of the display cell having the flexible thin-film structure comprises the steps of: transferring a motherboard structure, which includes at least a cell motherboard including a resin base and at least one display cell formed on the resin base and having a display surface in a flexible thin-film structure, in a transfer direction while the display surface of the display cell is directed upward; forming an adhesive layer on the display surface of the display cell having the motherboard structure, which is transferred in the transfer direction; making the display cell become an excited state by supplying an excitation power to the display cell in which the adhesive layer is formed on the display surface of the display cell, and performing a defect inspection on the display cell which is in the excited state; and laminating an optical function film on the adhesive layer formed on the display surface of the inspected display cell. In addition, provided is a pseudo terminal unit for an excitation power application, which is used for performing a defect inspection of a plurality of display cells on a cell motherboard by simultaneously making the plurality of display cells become an excited state, the cell motherboard including the plurality of display cells which have a rectangular shape having two short sides and two long sides and has a terminal part having an electric connection terminal formed along either the short side or the long side, the plurality of display cells being disposed in a plurality of rows and columns arranged along longitudinal columns.
