The present invention relates to a checking system for taxi boarding information by a wearable glasses device and a method using same. The checking method for taxi boarding information by using a glasses type wearable device, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step (S100) of gaining images containing a taxi approaching to a user; a step (S101) of recognizing a taxi from the images and extracting a plate number of the taxi; a step (S102) of transmitting the plate number to an external server and grasping whether a customer gets into the taxi; a step (S103) of receiving information on whether a customer gets into the taxi from the external server; and a step (S104) of notifying the information to the user. According to the present invention, customers easily know whether other customers are in approaching taxies, so they have less difficulty of finding available taxies. In addition, the invention eliminates inconvenience of continuously shaking arms to take a taxi.
