Provided is an end-sealing structure for a fuel rail to be used in a gasoline direct injection engine and having a structure for closing one or both ends of the rail body comprising a tube such as a pipe with an end cap, wherein the structure is simplified and the end caps are capable of handling high pressure. A structure for closing one or both ends of a rail body comprising a tube with a screw-fastenable cap-nut-shaped end cap, the structure being characterized in that a metal gasket is interposed between the rail body end section and the inner-wall surface of the cap-nut-shaped end cap, and the gasket is tightened and sealed as a result of the axial force produced by tightening the cap-nut-shaped end cap fitted onto the rail body and fastened thereto. |
