The invention relates to a radiator (18) for cooling a gas flow (25), in particular for an internal combustion engine (1) preferably for a motor vehicle, comprising: a radiator core (23) having a gas path (27) via which the gas flow (25) flows, and a coolant path (28) via which a coolant flows, thermally coupled to one another in a media-separated manner; a fluid separator (24) for separating fluid from the gas flow (25), arranged downstream of the radiator core (23) in relation to the gas flow (25); a radiator housing (100) in which the radiator core (23) and the fluid separator (24) are arranged; and a condensate drain (32) via which the condensate separated at the fluid separator (24) can drain from the radiator housing (100), characterised in that the fluid separator (24) is arranged at a distance from the radiator core (23), and in that the condensate drain (32) is arranged at a distance from the radiator core (23). The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising a radiator of this type, as well as to the use of a radiator (18) of this type in an exhaust gas recirculation system (6) in order to cool recirculated exhaust gas. |
