Disclosed are a method and a program for designing an integrated circuit. The method according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include: a step of receiving input data which defines an integrated circuit using first standard cells; a step of preparing at least one second standard cell having a layout which provides a higher yield than the first standard cells; a step of replacing at least one among the first standard cells included in the integrated circuit with a corresponding second standard cell; and a step of generating output data which defines the integrated circuit including the second standard cell. The first and the second cell which correspond to each other may have the same function and the same layout footprint.
