<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant for a pigment suitable for a field such as a paint and a colored resin composition, and capable of manufacturing the dispersant excellent in a non-aggregation property, flowability and storage stability, and to provide a production method therefor, and a pigment composition using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dispersant for the pigment is produced by reacting hydroxyl group in a vinyl polymer (A) having the one hydroxyl group in one side terminal area obtained by radical-polymerizing an ethylenic unsaturated monomer (b), in the presence of a compound (a) having one hydroxyl group and two or more of thiol groups in a molecule, with an acid anhydride group of a carboxylic anhydride (c). The dispersant for the pigment is further produced by radical-polymerizing the ethylenic unsaturated monomer (b), in the presence of a compound obtained by reacting the hydroxyl group of the compound (a) having the one hydroxyl group and the two or more of thiol groups in the molecule, with the acid anhydride group of the carboxylic anhydride (c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
