PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording and reproducing device that can easily execute an operation to continuously capture a plurality of static images from reproduced video data and record the static images.SOLUTION: An image recording and reproducing device includes a reproducing unit that reproduces moving images from a recording medium, an operation key that instructs the recording of static images, a recording unit that creates static image data from the moving images reproduced by the reproducing unit and records the static image data in response to the instruction from the operation key, and a control unit that controls to execute frame advance reproduction frame by frame until the instruction from the operation key is cancelled, and continuously record the static image data on a plurality of static images obtained by the frame advance reproduction. |
