<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode, which can produce a nonaqueous secondary battery that has superior adhesiveness with a collector and maintains high discharge capacity even though discharge and charge is repeated and even in a high-temperature environment due to heat generation. <P>SOLUTION: In the binder composition for the nonaqueous secondary battery electrode containing a resin fine particle dispersion element, the resin fine particle dispersion element is obtained by emulsion polymerization of a monomer that contains an acid group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer (A) of 10-30 wt.% and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B) except the ethylenically unsaturated monomer (A) of 70-90 wt.% in the total 100 wt.% of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, by using a radical polymerization initiator in water under the existence of a surfactant.
