<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsified hair dressing material which is favorable in use feeling, suppressed in roughened feeling and sticky feeling, and has an effect excellent in setting force, re-hair dressing performance and the continuity of the setting force. <P>SOLUTION: The emulsified hair dressing material contains the following components (A) to (D). (A) an oil agent whose melting point is not lower than 60°C and not higher than 105°C, (B) an oil agent whose melting point is not lower than 35°C and lower than 60°C, (C) an emulsifier and (D) ester composed of a monovalent alcohol whose carbon number is 6 to 18 and a salicylic acid.
