<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight substrate having noncombustibility. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate is manufactured by the steps of: suspending 8 pts. wt. of rock wool, 4 pts. wt. of a glass fiber, 65 pts. wt. of aluminum hydroxide, 20 pts. wt. of a shirasu balloon and 3 pts. wt. of an acrylic emulsion to obtain aqueous slurry; adding a paper strength additive and a polymer coagulant to the slurry to form a sheet; and then dehydrating, heating and drying the sheet; subsequently applying the acrylic emulsion on both front and rear surfaces; drying the sheet; and hot-press molding the sheet at a temperature of 140°C and a pressure of 30 kg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>for 15 minutes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
