<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce necessary memory capacity, to reduce cost and to down-size a composite image generating device. <P>SOLUTION: Individual material images are compressed and stored in a material image storage section 110 at a mode where they can independently be expanded for each unit region. A composite image P becoming a generation object is divided into a plurality of (M pieces) partial images. Two partial image memories 171 and 172 are alternately used and first to M-th partial images are sequentially generated. They are sequentially outputted by a data output section 160. A controller 130 designates a specified unit region of a specified material image required for an i-th partial image as an expansion object to a data expansion section 140 on the basis of a command C which a command input section 120 inputs, and gives an instruction to arrange the expanded material image in a specified position at a specified size to a composite processing section 150. The composite processing section 150 writes the expanded material image in prescribed address positions on the partial image memories 171 and 172 on the basis of the instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
