PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector capable of reducing the number of points whose water cutoff performance has to be ensured.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 21 comprises: an outer housing 22; an inner housing 24; a wire-equipped terminal; and a packing mat seal. A left locking protrusion 38 and a right locking protrusion 39 serving as a locking portion to the inner housing 24 are formed integrally with a bottom wall 28 of the outer housing 22. The packing mat seal is formed integrally with the bottom wall 28 of the outer housing 22 such that the packing mat seal comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surfaces on the proximal side of the left locking protrusion 38 and the right locking protrusion 39. Because the packing mat seal is integrally formed, the outer peripheral surfaces on the proximal side of the left locking protrusion 38 and the right locking protrusion 39 become watertight against the packing mat seal 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
