PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a magnification ratio suitable for geometrically deformed image data, with less processing load, in geometrically deforming the image data.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: setting means for setting a magnification ratio for variable magnification to a predetermined value; and control means for determining coordinates by reflecting the magnification ratio and the amount of geometrical deformation, for a pixel of interest in output image data, and performing magnification ratio calculation for increasing or decreasing the magnification ratio, according to whether the coordinates are located beyond the image data before geometrical deformation. The control means changes the amount of change in magnification ratio in increasing or decreasing the magnification ratio, to repeat the calculation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
