PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that detects a failure in attachment of a member that can be removably attached to the image forming apparatus with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a voltage supply part that is electrically connected to a member that can be removably attached to the image forming apparatus via a connection terminal for applying a voltage to the member; and detection means that is provided between the voltage supply part and a ground potential for detecting a current in a path passing through the voltage supply part and connection terminal. The image forming apparatus detects a failure in attachment of the member on the basis of a detected current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
