PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mechanical efficiency of a brake device.SOLUTION: A brake device 100 comprises: a brake body 10; a pair of link arms 30 respectively provided facing both faces of a brake disc 1a with support parts 32 between one ends 31 and the other ends 33 supported rotatably to the brake body 10, the other ends 33 supporting brake linings 2 which slidingly contact with the brake disc 1a to impart friction force; a connection rod 35 connecting the one ends 31 of the pair of link arms 30 with each other; an actuator 20 mounted on the connection rod 35 to advance and retreat a rod 21; a lever 40 rotatably connected to the rod 21 of the actuator 20 and rotated with advancing and retreating of the rod 21; a booster unit 50 provided on at least one of the one ends 31 of the pair of link arms 30 and boosting the force transmitted by rotation of the lever 40 to rotate the link arms 30 around the support parts 32 as fulcrums.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
