PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which detects a change before dust particles floating in an indoor space descend and settle so that dust starts to be deposited on a floor surface and which performs an air cleaning operation for collecting the dust particles, and thereby reduces dust deposition onto the floor surface.SOLUTION: When a cleaning mode is set, an elevation angle of a blowout louver 4 is made small so that an aperture area of an air outlet 5 is small, and since a blowout direction is directed to a central direction in the air outlet, air blown out from the air outlet 5 of an upper part of a body case 1 is blown farther and thereby preventing dust present on a lower part indoors from flying up. Then, in this state, an aperture area of a suction port 3 is made large during operation so that the dust present on the lower part indoors is effectively sucked from the suction port 3 resulting in reduction of dust deposition onto the floor surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
