PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a luminance improvement film.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display panel; a backlight module; and a reel. The backlight module is arranged to face the display panel, and includes: a light transmission region R1; a light emission region R2; a peripheral region R3; and a first luminance improvement film 121. The peripheral region R3 is interposed between the light transmission region R1 and the light emission region R2. The first luminance improvement film 121 includes a plurality of first micro-mechanisms arranged along a first direction X, and passes through the peripheral region R3. The light collection efficiency of the plurality of micro-mechanisms not connected to a first edge L1 is lower than the light collection efficiency of a plurality of first micro-mechanisms 121a which passes through the light emission region R2 only. The reel is arranged to face the light transmission region R1, and the display panel and the reel are arranged to face both sides of the backlight module, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A |
