PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of suppressing permanent deformation of an elastic piece and of keeping a desired contact load.SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises: housing 3; an insertion part 7 provided on one lateral face side of the housing 3 and into which an end part of a circuit board 5 provided with a plurality of conductor parts is inserted; a terminal 11 accommodated in the housing 3 and that has a box part 9 arranged at the insertion part 7; an elastic piece 15 arranged so that it can be exposed from or retracted in the box part 9, and that has a contact part 13 contacted with the conductor parts of the circuit board 5; a holder 17 assembled to the insertion part 7 of the housing 3; and a push-up part 19 provided on the holder 17 so as to extend toward the box part 9 side of the terminal 11, and that abuts on the elastic piece 15 when the holder 17 is assembled to the housing 3 to deform the elastic piece 15 to expose the contact part 13 to the outside of the box part 9. In the connector 1, the push-up part 19 is provided with an absorbing part 21 that permits deformation of the elastic piece 15 when the contact part 13 is contacted with the conductor part of the circuit board 5 beyond a displacement amount of the elastic piece 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
